Searching for my Dad

On February 3, 1981, Brenda Marie Donnelly gave birth to me at Francis Scott Key Hospital which may have been called Baltimore General back then or vice versa (not quite sure) in Baltimore, Maryland. By that time my father was gone. It is unknown whether he left on his own or my mother made him leave...I have been searching for him about 8 years now without any luck. My mother would rather me not find him so she is being very vague with what information she does have about him. All I know is his name is Steven/Stephen Craig Brown and when I was born he was either 20 or 21 which would make him between 46 or 48 (depending on his DOB)...I was also led to believe that back then he MAY have had a drug problem. But again, this is coming from my mothers mouth...I would really love to find him so that I may meet the other half responsible for bringing me into this world...I would also love for him to meet his granddaughter who will be 10 soon...Some other names with their ages at the time of my birth that may jog a memory are Adam R. Griffin, 9 & James R. Griffin, 12 and David R. Griffin, 14 who are the brothers of Brenda Donnelly as well as Dave R. Griffin, 34 & Margaret A.
